The Next Big Thing in Origin / Destination Data Capture
NuStats is currently using PTV TripTracer to collect origin / destination information in the New York City metropolitan region. With TripTracer, interviewers are “virtually” local – with knowledge of place names, locations, and street and public transit networks at their fingertips. TripTracer makes travel survey interviewing and location geocoding accurate, precise, and efficient. It brings a capability to trace actual routes in real-time to control for under-reporting of trips. And, it enhances the respondent-interviewer interaction.
